Underwater 3D imaging system for field deployment

This is a low-cost system for stereo-camera imaging and data-logging from octopus dens in the Salish Sea. Developed by lab member Willem Weertman, it has been field-tested and deployed throughout the Friday Harbor Labs Marine Preserves.

Customized sensors for recording airborne odor plumes

A new, miniaturized sensor-based approach for real-time airborne odor plume monitoring, developed by lab member Mohammad Tariq.

These automated arenas support naturalistic memory and sensory-based search behavior in a laboratory setting. Developed by lab members Brian Jackson and Mohammad Tariq, with support from lab alumni Lulu Gusti, Sarahi Ponton Junes and Sujean Oh.
